About Dr. Dan Foss
Dr. Dan Foss is the only Advanced SOT certified chiropractor in San Antonio, Texas — one of a small number of practitioners worldwide who have completed the full Advanced SOT curriculum through SORSI, including mastery of CMRT organ adjusting and SOT Craniopathy. His practice treats the spine, the organs, and the cranium as one integrated system. That difference is why patients come to Pura Vida from across San Antonio — and why they finally get results after years of being managed rather than healed.
His path to this level of specialization began with a personal experience: in first grade, when he was 8 years old, Dan had torticollis — his head locked to one side. A medical doctor prescribed pharmaceuticals. His parents took him to a chiropractor instead. One adjustment changed everything. Twenty-three years later, that experience is the reason the Pura Vida Protocol exists.

If we can help, we perform a thorough orthopedic, neurological, and physical exam — plus digital X-rays if indicated. Dr. Foss identifies the root cause, not just the symptoms.
Personalized Care Plan
Dr. Foss reviews the findings with you and designs a tailored care plan — using SOT, CMRT, SoftWave therapy, and Class IV laser as appropriate. Care begins only when you're ready.

Sacro Occipital Technique uses pelvic blocks and precise neurological analysis to correct the structural foundation of your health. Category I, II, and III protocols address sacroiliac instability, disc involvement, sciatica, and cascading pelvic dysfunction.
Pillar 2 — The Organs (CMRT)
Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique is the organ-adjusting branch of Advanced SOT. Every thoracic vertebra connects to an organ through the autonomic nervous system. CMRT addresses GERD, adrenal fatigue, PMS, gallbladder dysfunction, allergies, and fertility challenges. Dr. Foss is the only CMRT-certified chiropractor in San Antonio.
